TRAVEL INFORMATION TRANSPORTATION

Dyerville Bridge, the race staging area is located about 45 miles south of Eureka, Ca on the Avenue of the Giants highway. Driving time from San Francisco or Sacramento is about 5 hours, and from Portland: eight hours. The nearest commercial airport is Eureka/Arcata, about 60 miles to the north. The Airport is serviced by United Express and Horizon, with flights to and from San Francisco, Portland, Los Angeles and Sacramento. Rental cars are available there, though problematic after the late flights.

BOX 276  |  WEOTT, CA 95571  |  (707) 946-2263  near Humboldt Redwood State Park Headquarters, 1.5 miles north of Weott on the Avenue of the Giants.  Reservations are required.  A private campground, Giant Redwoods RV and Camp is located in Myers Flat, 943-3188.
