I run to find me
At the end of my long journey on foot:
A journey that just defied all technological transport
That was a progression backwards in time
That touched on an ancient relationship
Of Homo Sapien to earth
Of foot to movement forward
Of a heartbeat to the wind
That justifies my existence
As an innocent again,
Alone with my body that meets my soul
At the end of the journey
Down the long road of the prehistoric trees
That make me feel so small and so big........... Me.
